UN High Level Summit on Non-Communicable Diseases

The UN General Assembly holds a UN High‐Level Summit on Non‐Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in order to bring global attention to these diseases and agree on a plan of action to address them.
Mr. David Brennan, President of the IFPMA and CEO of AstraZeneca, has been invited to participate as a civil society speaker in Round Table 2 on 19th September that focused on “Strengthening national capacities, as well as appropriate policies, to address prevention and control of non-communicable diseases”.
