Katsuhiro is the Japan Liaison Executive, helping to facilitate coordination between IFPMA and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Association (JPMA), a voluntary association of 72 research-oriented pharmaceutical companies.
Before joining IFPMA, Katsuhiro built his career at Daiichi Sankyo, where he most recently worked in the Market Access & Pricing (MA&P) function covering Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In this role, he contributed to MA&P strategies for oncology products, collaborating closely with local and global stakeholders to enhance patient access while maximizing product value across diverse healthcare systems.
Earlier in his career, he gained foundational experience as a Medical Representative, promoting cardiovascular and oncology products and supporting appropriate-use initiatives. This experience strengthened his ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and to bridge local market needs with regional strategic priorities.
Katsuhiro holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Kanagawa University of Human Services, further strengthening his expertise in global health.
