Luca is responsible for the industry engagement with the UN HQ in NYC. He coordinates IFPMA youth activities and is responsible for advancing research and analysis on different subjects such as pharmaceutical innovation, IP, and global health.
He is the focal point for IFPMA’s engagement with the UN Human Rights Council and manages relations with academic partners in Africa. Luca also leads our youth network, HYPER , an initiative dedicated to empowering, connecting, and mobilizing young global health leaders.
Before joining IFPMA, Luca was Assistant Manager on IP and Competition Policy at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). He gained professional experience at the Embassy of Italy in Indonesia, within the Political and Commercial Sections, and at Deloitte, in the Strategy Consulting practice.
Luca holds a Master of Arts in European Economic Studies: European Law and Economic Analysis from the College of Europe, and a Master in International Business and Economics from the University of Pavia.
