Naoko works in global health, helping to facilitate coordination between IFPMA and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Association (JPMA), a voluntary association of 72 research-oriented pharmaceutical companies.

Before joining IFPMA, Naoko worked for Daiichi Sankyo in Japan. There, she gained broad experience in sales, marketing, planning, and management.

Utilizing her expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences, she has provided information to medical institutions on the proper use of the company’s drugs, deepened engagement with key opinion leaders in the diabetes area as a product manager, and planned sales strategies. After that, with her experience in sales and marketing, she contributed to building good communication with internal and external parties by acting as a liaison between the sales and corporate units.
