Global biopharmaceutical CEOs response to reforms introduced in Germany

By IFPMA
In response to reforms adopted by the German government on 10 July, BCR Secretary General, and IFPMA Director General, Dr. David Reddy, said:

“The legislation passed by the German government undermines the value of medical innovation, global competitiveness and patient access to new medicines. Failing to reflect the value that medicines and vaccines bring, will negatively impact the availability of new medicines for patients and lead to reduced levels of investment in research and development.

The German Government must act to reverse the current direction which undermines Germany’s position as a leading location for pharmaceutical innovation and investment.”
