Mathias is our General Counsel and Executive Director of Operations, overseeing legal, HR, finance, and operational functions for the organization.

Mathias brings over 20 years of experience as a legal and compliance executive and leader in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, as well as in private practice. A Swiss and German qualified lawyer, Mathias holds a law degree from the University of Freiburg (Germany), a LL.M from the University of Montréal, and a PhD from the University of Lausanne. He has held senior positions with regional and global reach at Novartis, NovoNordisk, and Cardinal Health as well as Zimmer Biomet.
